Kjære konfirmant

This card is made for a christian ceremony. some of you who have been around for a while can see that I have used some of my TOP favourite papers here. I talk about the Basic Grey "Romani" papers.
BG also have my absolut nr 1 favourite paper of all time "Lollipop shoppe". I was so lucky to get my hand of 25 of this papers a few years ago, and I know it is not possible to get more so this papers have their own little space in my scrapbooking room, where no one are to be let in...
Well, back to this card.
- as my base I have used blue, pink and aqua Bazzil
- The lace I bought on a gathers from scrapbookersa few yrs ago and the golden trimmed lace I got from bakeshop
- I have used lots and lots of charms that I have filled with glitter glue (aqua)
- The K letter I made myself with glitter and glue.
- from a hat pin I made this little rose creation in the right corner.
- the letter are a mix that got a little wrap in clear glue.

I made the inside in the same papers, and added an little envelope where the giver can place his or hers gift to the receiver. If you look closely to the tag you can see a little piece of my all time favourite number one paper from BG!!! you can see it in this picture below.. I have tried to spot out the one!!
This card I will place in this challenge.

Thanks all for looking - have a great day!!

BOM (from Mom to Daughter)

This LO I made on behalf of our neighbour Mom, whos daughter was to get confirmated earlier.
This are to be the front page pf her album, and she wanted me to create this one so she can take out elements in the rest of her album.
When I made this I used:
- different Bazzils in brown and blue tones
- the paper strip fra maja Design
- stars and heart shapes are from Heidi S
- arrows are from 7 gypsies
- the letters and charms are from all over
- the blue flower paper is from, belive it or not a toilet paper roll I bought in France a few years ago. I never used it - just brought it back with me to norway, and have had lots of fun with it. Sadely I now only have a few yrds left and in France they have stopped to sell this... So I belive this will be placed in my treasure bin soon..
- the ticket i have made my self, and there are some handwritten stuff here.

I realy love this one. Long time since I have made any LO's - so it is nice to see that I haven ot forgotten everything about it.

With this LO I will compete in a challenge, you can look more into it here.

Thanks for spending some minutes in my blog, hopefully I can inspire you to go back to your scrapbooking room, and create some amazing stuff!! Take care

confirmation card for twins

This weeks I have made some cards for the Sukkersøt's challenge "3d effect". We are going to Tromsø to Tom's family to be part of an confirmation, Frits and Charlotte's. So I have made one girl and one boys card. First u see my card to Charlotte.
As always I have used pleny of everything and inspired of Ronda, I have tried to use some of my old treasures.
On the first page I have several kinds of ribbon, some Prima flowers, a picture of some rose's Tom gave me the other day, gold charms and different letters.
Since the challenge is 3D, I have tried to make layers onto layers..
This card is also into:
ABC challenge "U is for".
Cute card thursday "someone special"
Sir stampalot challenge "butterflies and blossom"

There were so many things I wanted this card to have so I had to make it like a tiny album. Inside the card I sewed one more card, so on first side our blessing will come, next 3 pages are a poem my mother got for her confirmation that I think express the confirmation feeling very well. Here I have used the new collection from Heartdesign as basic. Their paper goes all the way thru the card, on all pages. Here again i have layers og paper and ribbons, butterflies ++
Inside the "second card" is the rest of the poem + some buttons and pink plastic dots from søstrene Grene.
On the last pages I have a tag + a heart button and a little paper rose, on the other side I made a envelope to put the money she will resive as the present. This one I have decorated with several ribbons, flowers, rubons ++

On Frits's card I have used paper from Maja Design, the collection "du och jag". Here 2 I have layers and layers of papers, some metall gitter, buttons, a football picture (since all he thinks of is football), some ribbons, letters and a poem.

I have always thought is it more difficult to make cards for boys than girls (wonder why, when u see what colours I normaly use... LOL).
So in here I have one the first page, made an envelope for the money present, some text, different flowers, ribbons and several layers paper. I tried to use the same papers on the other side, but glued them on in a differet direction. Here I have my little handwritten on page 3 together with some flowers.

Always when I go to "treff" I meet Nina and she always challenge me to decorate all the 4 sides of a card. Here with Frits's card I tried to make the backside nice to. I have used the leftovers from the panels I made + some buttons, same as the front page + my visitcard, that I place on all cards I make (so people know where to find me incase they want to order a card in the future..)

I hope u enjoy my cards, and hopefully they can inspire u to make some 3D effected cards. In Norway monday is our Nationalday. We are to celebrate it in Tromsø, and the weather people say it is going to be very nice weather up there, so hopefully next week I can show u some pictures from the north of Norway...

Have a nice celebration everyone!!!

Simon says CELEBRATIONS

For the very first time I will join the Simon Says Challenge, with this card.

In Norway, (where I live), when u are around 14 year u go thru a Christian seremony, and u invite all your family, neighbours and frends to celebrate this with u. Up here we call this for "Konfirmasjon", probably u have this all around the world..
This card I made for Charlotte who has her seremoni in a few weeks.
This card I think is the card I am most satisfied with ever (as I kind of think, for every card i make lol).
I belive this card is called a "trifold card".
As always I have plenty of details on my cards. On this flip, I have used the same sort of ribbon but in two ways. On the uppser side I glued it between the papers and below I glued it on top. To cover the point where they meet I have glued a rose from storyteller, paited with yellow Shimmerz.
Under the flip I used some lacy ribbons that I used some purple ink on, to get a contrast to the pink and blue inside. Around the card I have used a light brown organza and a pink silk ribbon.
On the paper stock I have a piece of blue and pink Bazzil, some rose paper I found in the trashbin, and some leftovers from a Hambly sheet. The picture I have trimmed, distressed and crakeld.
This is a very fun card to make. As u see on this picture, the first squere is made so i can put the cover between them, to hold the card together. When u open the flap and the left "corner flap", there is a new panel, same size as in front. This one I have coverd with different flowers from storyteller, + some i cut out from QK and some other flower I cant remeber where I got from. There is also the same pink silk ribbon that I used on the front side.
Here u see the mid panel, after I sprayed it with some glitter mist - look alike, gold type..
When u open all the flaps u come to the inside of the card where my text will show up. I have used the butterfly edge puncher from Martha Stewart on the side + I cutted out some blue ones and glued on. Both on the top and on the tiny little pink silk ribbon piece u see in right corner.
the paper I have used for this project is "blue Damask" from heartfelt design. To distress all the edges I have used cream and bronze cat eye.
I hope u enjoyed looking at this card as much as I had lots of fun making it!!!
