Happy birthday, "Sukkersøtt" - challenge

This card I made for Morten, who has birthday today. This is for "sukkersøtt's" challenge, to make a birthday card.
Later tonight this will no longer be mine..
This card is what I call "dorull kort", I am nor sure what a dorull is in english, but hopefully u understand what is is when u see the card.
I have used different papers from Heartdesign, Bazzil, Maja + some others. Different ribbons, yarn, roses from Storeteller and Prima. RubOns and thickers. On the tag-top I edge punched it with the butterfly punch from Martha Stewart + some ribbons (organza and silk). All the paper pieces I have distressed with brown cat eye..
Hopefully he like my spring-pastel inspired card..
Have a great weekend e1. In Oslo the temerature is great and sunny so most of the weekend will be spent in the garden.

Mini album, "Thats just so cute" challenge

This challenge at "Thats Just So Cute" was to make a kit and use it to make a card, LO, Album or any other project. For a long time I have wanted to make a mini album to Per and Tommy. We was at holliday together, December 2009. At Canary Islands..
I took a deep dive into my boxes with left overs and thought this perhaps was a perfect challenge to use some of this treasures.

My album is 6" x 6.5"

I made the front page of some plastic sheets I had lying around from back in school, when I took the interior designer education. On that I glued some Hably overlay, some print outs I made when i selected the pictures + a paper trim piece.

"Seilas". From the inside of the molo u see this nice house where the marina boss live and workes, on the other side it is ocean all the way to Africe.
I had a little piece og mesh, a rose and some paljets + some thickers, and hambly + half a rubons.

This is the view from our balcony, we was just a few meters away from the beach. Here I have several left overs from different papers, I don't know what they are..
At the end of the "Molo" this was one of our favourite places for picture taking. Ocean for as long the eye could see. In this page I have used planty of ribbons and trimmed paper. I tried to keep it in blue + that little pink "M" to be that little piece of contrast..
My boyfriend Tom is of all the persons I know a "icecream lover", so this LO is dedicated to him and his passion for icecrem. I made a little origami cup, and made a little sign saying just that, I found some metal "gitter", a pink rose, some hamly ++ and stiched it on. This is the one I am most satisfied with in the tiny album..
This pictures are taken in the mountain city Mogan. Here is one of our favorite resturants onm this Island. "Enriqes". We go here every year and have the best meal!!!
This LO was the most difficult, I am not sure if I am satiesfied - but I came to that point where I just had to decide - I'M DONE, cause when I continued to glue on it just look more and more like a trash bin... So here u find a little of everything - lol
We used to have a special place in Arguinegin, a resturant with very good food, and a perfect view. It was lying up in the mountains, directly over the sea, so one of the highlights on the holliday was to spend an evening here, see the sunset and have a great meal. This time we had the sunset and the view, but with new owners, a horrible chef and an interirdesigner - "out of function" this was our last vissit at this resturant. This LO I guess is my sort of - clean and simple -. I am realy not good at that, but this one actualy works for me with so little stach on..
My last page "100 x så dyrt", it means 100 times as expensive. The first picture is from our favourite resturant EVER, Clipper in Puerto de Mogan. It is a fish they made explisit for us. This dish is not on the menue. Price: 140.- euros (175.- $ / 1100.- nkr) The other one is a "hamburger" from a lunch place. Price: 1.40 euros (1.75 $ / 11.- nkr).
The fish tasted like a piece of heaven while the burger tasted like trash or paper...
Here i had some paper pieces, hambly, thickers and a piece of an christmas decoration that was destroid of my cats last year..
that was the end of my little album, I used just things from my kit + gluedots off course. I am satisfied with it and look forward to give it to the guys tonight..

Simon says CELEBRATIONS

For the very first time I will join the Simon Says Challenge, with this card.

In Norway, (where I live), when u are around 14 year u go thru a Christian seremony, and u invite all your family, neighbours and frends to celebrate this with u. Up here we call this for "Konfirmasjon", probably u have this all around the world..
This card I made for Charlotte who has her seremoni in a few weeks.
This card I think is the card I am most satisfied with ever (as I kind of think, for every card i make lol).
I belive this card is called a "trifold card".
As always I have plenty of details on my cards. On this flip, I have used the same sort of ribbon but in two ways. On the uppser side I glued it between the papers and below I glued it on top. To cover the point where they meet I have glued a rose from storyteller, paited with yellow Shimmerz.
Under the flip I used some lacy ribbons that I used some purple ink on, to get a contrast to the pink and blue inside. Around the card I have used a light brown organza and a pink silk ribbon.
On the paper stock I have a piece of blue and pink Bazzil, some rose paper I found in the trashbin, and some leftovers from a Hambly sheet. The picture I have trimmed, distressed and crakeld.
This is a very fun card to make. As u see on this picture, the first squere is made so i can put the cover between them, to hold the card together. When u open the flap and the left "corner flap", there is a new panel, same size as in front. This one I have coverd with different flowers from storyteller, + some i cut out from QK and some other flower I cant remeber where I got from. There is also the same pink silk ribbon that I used on the front side.
Here u see the mid panel, after I sprayed it with some glitter mist - look alike, gold type..
When u open all the flaps u come to the inside of the card where my text will show up. I have used the butterfly edge puncher from Martha Stewart on the side + I cutted out some blue ones and glued on. Both on the top and on the tiny little pink silk ribbon piece u see in right corner.
the paper I have used for this project is "blue Damask" from heartfelt design. To distress all the edges I have used cream and bronze cat eye.
I hope u enjoyed looking at this card as much as I had lots of fun making it!!!

me + vintage = ?

The other day I found a new vintage challenge blog, and I thought that was a nice excuse to make a dive into this direction. I have never made anything with this kind of pictures, and I am not sure if what I have made can be called "vintage cards" - but I did my best and liked the ressault (atleast the 2 I present here.. )
The challenge was to make a card or something else using the picture u see over. Here are my 2 cards for this callenge:

In both cards I have used paper from Heartfelt Design, some charms and different ribbons. Both stamps are from Papir i hjertet. The flowers I have painted with Shimmerz (candle light). I have distressed all edges and corners. the lacy ribbons I made coffee colour with my espresso (Yes - it was worth it) since I didn't have any in this colour. The butterflies in the last one are from Martha Stewart's edge punch.
In my atempt tp make the pictures even older, I folded them and used some rubbing paper on the fold, and edges. I used a painters knife to get out more of the inc - hopeing to give the impression that this picture has been lying around for ages, and not just 10 minutes..
Hopefully u liked my first atempt at vintage scrapbooking, it will not be the last!!

Some new cards

It's been some weeks ago since I had the time to show u what I've done in my scrapbooking room lately. But since this is a rainy day, I woke up and thought this is the day!!

A few weeks ago I got my ScoreBoard from Martha Stewart. And finaly I could very easy make this cute little box'es. Here I post one I made for Jannicke "vår klem (Spring hug)".
I have also used martha stewart's edge punches "butterfly" together with Papir i hjerte's new paper collection.
Under here I used the butterfly punch from MS. I cutt'ed out some of the "flies" and glued them to the egde to make a more 3D effect.. This box is 6x6". Around the box i have several layers of ribbons, both organza and silk. The roses i have painted with Shimmerz glittermaling also from Papir i hjertet (my favourite store here in Norway). This days they are on sale here, so "LØP Å KJØP" is my tip of the day.

This card I made for an alternativ christian, more like a "name-day"-kind of. I used Papir i hjerte's own papers. Thay are just so lovely!!!
Here is some of the other cards I have made, they are just a ressault of happy thinking and lovely colours.

If any of u norwegian reades need a card, my cards are for sale. either some u see here, or u can contact me if u need a special card.
I also have "kort kurs" - send me a e-mail ( pelleryk@online.no ) and I will send u an invitation.

How to make "the never ending card"

At first sight, the never ending card, looks like every other cards. but if u look a little closer u see there are different panels u can flip and turn over. This card give 4 sides u can decorate.

I will here try to show u how to make this card.

Under evey picture, just look at the number and i'll explain.

a) U need 4 picees of card stock, cut at 3"x6"

b+c) Score down at the center 1.5" vertical, and horisontal each 4 ends at 1.5" Use the bone folder to get realy crisp scores.

d) butt 2 pieces together having center score line going tohetger, vertical (up and down)

1) same as under D, make the 2 center line go together and put on some glue dots at every corner.

2-4) remaining 2 pieces center line will be horizontal. Make sure they pit perfect together.

5-6) to make all u're panles open, here comes the folding on your score lines. I have added some arrows to show u what panels to fold where. Take that little piece on 5) and fold like u see on pictire 6)

7) flip it over to the backside.

8) Now fold the center to the left and the outside are to go back under it.

10) turd it around and it should look like this. Now it is critical that u're cutting is perfect. Some of the panels will "overlock" and if there are many wrong cuts this part will be difficult.

11) the center line will go up, and the putline will go back and under again

12) here u see it from the side, how the folding are to be.

13-14) repeat this on the others side at u are soon done.

15) the last folding. Centerl ine in and the outside back and under the card.

The folding is now done. When u now are to flip the card, u can do it from this side. Just open any center line that shows up in u're new side and u'll see u can go on for ever...

the never ending card.

When u are to decorate this card. Do that after u are done glue it and fold it together. U'll see that on one of the sides (number 3) some of the decoration from side 2 will also be on side 3.

15) woops, this came 2 times...

Decorating: I use small glue dots to make this paper pieces glu to the card. It is important to use decorations who not built to high, like stamping, stickers, tiny charms, die cuts etc, etc..

Here i stick the last paper piece to the card, before i start decorating this pieces.

I have used different rub ons, crystals, different paper, bazzil etc, etc to make this card.

Below u see the 4 sides.

I made this a birthday card, to one of my good scrapbooking friends

Now good luck to u. would be fine if someone made it and posted a link to their blog with the ressault. This is realy a funny card to make, and also very easy. The first card i ever made took me about 25 minutes to cut, glue and fold. then off curse a long time to decorate, but that is just funny.

Take care and good luck!!

So new christmas is over (yes I know, a time ago) But time goes by to fast.
This spring semester I take a course in autoCad. Hopefully I'll move to dublin this autum while I go to school there for a year.
Right now I try to loose some weight. I have tried almost everything so now I try the low-carb diet.
For the others arround there trying the same thing and who miss bread, I will share with u my recipe. I write it in norwegian first, maybe some of the translated words are not the correct one, I used Google Translate for them. totaly this bread contains ONLY 40 g karbs!!!

6 egg (6)
2 ts bake pulver (1)
6 ss knuste linfrø (0)
90 g kruskakli (9)
75 g sesamfrø (8)
65 g solsikkekjerner (7)
5 ss olje (0)
20 g havregryn (13)
1 boks seter rømme (5)
1 ts salt
4 ts splenda (søtningsmiddel)

6 eggs
2 small spoons baking powder
6 table spoons lin seed
75 g sesame seeds
65 g sunflower kernels
5 table spoons oil
20 g oat groats
1 small spoon salt
4 small spoons splenda
3 dl sour creme (35%)

Mix all the dry stuff together, add the eggs, oil and sour creme and beat it together.
In the own 55 minutes at 180 degrees.

U know this bread taste better than normal bread.

My goal are to try loosing about 30 kg. I'll add a picture of it next time a bake it.
to keep it, store it in a plastic bag in the refrigerator.

First week I lost 4 kg, my diet is to eat less that 15 g carbs pr day. Weekends is max 25 g
